Strategic Partner for Utility-Scale Solar Farm Development
Seeking experienced companies with proven expertise in utility-scale solar farm development for joint ventures in Lao PDR.
Project Overview
DDC Groups, through its Renewable Energy Portfolio, is seeking a qualified partner to co-develop a 50 MW utility-scale solar farm in southern Lao PDR. The project has received preliminary approval from the Ministry of Energy and Mines.

What We Seek in a Partner

- O&M (Operations & Maintenance) expertise
- Track record of successful projects in Southeast Asia preferred

Open Positions
Senior Civil Engineer
Lead the planning, design review, and on-site supervision of large-scale construction projects including roads, bridges, and commercial buildings. Report directly to the Project Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee structural design and engineering calculations
- Manage construction teams of 20-50 workers
- Ensure compliance with Lao PDR building codes and DDC quality standards
- Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and subcontractors
- Prepare progress reports and cost analysis
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SAP2000, or ETABS
- Strong knowledge of concrete and steel structure design
- Lao and English communication skills
Preferred
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience with government infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems
