HISTORY

The company was established in 1997
  • Douang Chaleurn Development Construction Group Sole Co.,Ltd was established in 1997 under the investment laws of the Lao PDR as a 100% Lao-owned private company. Mr. Khamphai Silasa is the founder, director, and manager of the company. Originally named Douang Chaleurn Development Construction Sole Co.,Ltd, (DDC) the company’s headquarters are located in Xieng Khouang Province in northern Laos.
  • Starting with an initial asset value of just USD 1 million, the company initially focused on construction projects including bridges, roads, irrigation systems, water supply systems, and other infrastructure projects.
Expansion of Service Units and Subsidiaries in 2003
  • Through numerous projects carried out across the country, the company has grown to become well-known and respected by society, earning the trust of both the Party and the government. The company has expanded its operations into various sectors, including surveying and design, construction of bridges and roads, building projects, hydropower dams, furniture industry, mining, and agriculture. Now, with more than 15 subsidiary companies, the company has rebranded as Douang Chaleurn Development Construction Group Sole Co.,Ltd (DDC GROUP), with its headquarters located at Ban PhonThong, Xaysettha District, Vientiane Capital, KM 19, Road 450.

  • The company is fully equipped to continuously grow its business, with strong financial stability and robust management built on over 20 years of knowledge, skills, and experience. Our team includes skilled design and construction engineers, experienced surveying and excavation crews, and more than 800 employees. We operate over 600 vehicles, both heavy and light, and hold total assets exceeding USD 900 million. Additionally, we have long-standing partnerships with both local and international developers, with agreements in place for over 30 years for various projects.
